Voices International (VI) is a choir that welcomes people of all levels of musical training and knowledge who love to sing together and perform for live audiences.
Our director James Libbey
James Libbey was chosen as the Artistic Director for the Spring 2018 Season. Under his direction the choir has tripled in size to well over 100 singers per season.
Our Repertoire
Wide variety of style
We sing a wide variety of music styles, including but not limited to pop, classical, soul, blues, jazz, rock, barbershop, spiritual and gospel. We mostly learn and perform SATB or SAB pieces, interspersed with some ladieโs and menโs songs and a few solos and small group pieces.
Diversity of languages
Although the majority of the songs are in English, we also include at least a song or two from other languages in each repertoire (examples are French, Latin, Hebrew, Italian, Czech, Chinese, Swedish, Spanish, German, Polish, Greek, Amharic, Zulu, Dutch, Hungarian, Slovak, Japanese, Scottish, Irish, Swahili, ladino and Luxembourgish).

An ardent believer in supporting the creation of new musical works Voices International has fostered an ongoing investment featuring new choral literature including:

Concerts and performances
Christmas concerts
In winter season, we perform 3-4 christmas concerts in churches across the country.
Our next christmas concerts the 6th, 7th, 13th and 14th of December.
Summer concert
Our traditional summer concert with the International School of Luxembourg Choirs is taking place in the Grand Auditorium at Philarmonie .
Our next concert at Philarmonie will be on the 13 June 2026.
Charities concerts
We regurlary perform concert in charities events.
During 2025, we have participated to WOลP in January and Alaโsย Alzheimer Memory Walk in September.
Pop-up concert
VI is also available to sing at other events upon request.

International cooperation
In Mai 2025, we have been sekected for participating to the 75thย International Choir Festival in Cork, Ireland.
In December 2023 and March 2024, we realise exchange concerts with Coro Sinfรณnico Inรชs de Castro, Portugal.

Membership Coordinator
Founded in 1997 by Peggy Jenks, VI began when enthusiastic performers from a local production of “Oklahoma” wanted to continue singing together.
